How many memories do you
have on VHS home movies If you are like
most people (40 and older) you have memories galore on VHS
tapes. Get them out now and have them transferred to
digital DVD before they disintegrate beyond repair resulting in
lost memories forever.
Over the years, with or without use, VHS tapes
disintegrate. The quality of the picture and sound get
worse and worse as time goes by. If you have watched them
much at all that shortens their life span. Eventually they will
be so corrupted they are not repairable. If you have VHS tapes
that are 15 years old or older now is the time to get them
converted to digital DVD before it's too late.
When I first started this business I was
fooling around with my old memories and ran across a 20 year
old VHS tape that I had forgotten about. This tape was in
good condition because I had kept it in a bookcase, upright, in
my living room away from heat and humidity with the jacket on it.
Anyway... on this tape was a memory that made me laugh out loud of my 17 month old
granddaughter (now 21) dancing in our living room to Joan
Jett (a phase I was going through then). Imagine my glee at finding this "lost treasure". I
immediately converted it to digital DVD and
ran to all of my daughter's house to watch it on their DVD
player. Its the one playing on the right of this page.
Isn't she tooooo cute?
Now you can turn those precious moments, of
your favorite child or children, into fabulous memory movies on
a DVD to watch over and over again with the now grown up baby,
the parents of the child or children, or other close family and
friends. And preserve it for the next few generations to enjoy. Go ahead
dig through your
photos,
slides,
negatives,
tapes, and
reel to reel movies and you will find many memories you
have forgotten about that you will want to preserve for many
more years to come and conveniently watch on DVD with family and
friends. For more
